Director of Technology
Ozark R-VI School District is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Technology to lead and support the district’s technology infrastructure and services. Reporting to the Executive Director of Finance & Business Services, this exempt, 12-month position is responsible for administering and maintaining districtwide network, server, computer, and telephone systems while coordinating the work of the Technology Department. Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field and have three to five years of network engineering and server administration experience, along with strong knowledge of networking technologies and system security. Key responsibilities include overseeing technology installations, managing security and data backups, assisting with budget development, coordinating technology projects and vendor relationships, developing specifications and evaluating bids, and supervising and evaluating technology staff. This role requires the ability to manage complex systems, safeguard confidential information, and provide reliable, innovative technology support for a dynamic educational environment.
