JOB SUMMARY:

The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for leading and ensuring all financial, operations, and management functions are operated in a legal and efficient manner. Under the direction of the Superintendent, plans, organizes, manages, directs and supervises the personnel, functions and activities of the Business Division, including budget development and monitoring, financial accounting, payroll, attendance, facilities and operations, purchasing and warehouse operations, risk management, transportation, nutrition services and legislative review. Performs other related work as required. Reports directly to the Superintendent of Schools and serves as a member of the Superintendent’s cabinet. This is a full-time, on-site position located in House Springs, MO.

Salary offered will be commensurate with experience.

Salary range: $139,200 - $165,300

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Finance, Budgeting, and Accounting
  • Proficiency in Analytical Skills and Strategic Planning
  • Ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with educational institution finance practices is a plus
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
