The Missouri Association of Rural Education has been retained by the Linn Co. R-I Board of Education to conduct a search for their next Superintendent of Schools.  Linn Co. R-I School District is located in Linn County (Purdin) in NE Missouri.

Application Time Line:

• Screening to begin – Ongoing during the application period
• Interviews Tentative Date – Week of December 15-18, 2025
• Anticipated Contract Offer Date – No later than December 18, 2025
• Contract Begins – July 1, 2026

Salary/Benefits Information:

• Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Salary – Minimum - $100,000.
• Administrative experience required/ Central Office administrative experience preferred.
• Missouri Superintendent’s Certificate or eligibility thereof required. 
• Board paid insurance benefits including health and life. 
• Initial two-year contract may be considered.
• Living in the district is preferred.

• Provide evidence of Missouri Superintendent Certificate (copy of certificate).
• Provide transcripts and current placement papers or credentials.
• Include any other supporting documents that would enhance the application file.
