As the Assistant Elementary Principal, you will work closely with the Elementary Principal to provide instructional leadership and support for our elementary schools. Your primary focus will be on the academic achievement and social-emotional growth of all students. You will also oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment for our students.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Elementary Principal to develop and implement a shared vision for the school
• Support and supervise teachers and staff, providing feedback and professional development opportunities
• Assist in the development and monitoring of curriculum, instruction, and assessment to ensure student success
• Monitor and analyze student data to identify areas of improvement and implement targeted interventions and programs
• Foster a positive school culture by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and maintaining high standards of behavior and discipline
• Act as a liaison between the school, parents, and community, building strong partnerships and promoting open communication
• Support and oversee school events, programs, and activities to promote student engagement and school spirit
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in education, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Valid state teaching and/or administrative certification
• Strong understanding of curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team towards a shared goal
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in education
