Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment
PRIMARY TASKS & MAJOR ACTIVITIES
District level instructional leader responsible for directing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum, instruction, and assessment in a high performing Professional Learning Community. Responsible for planning and implementation of professional learning, STEM, federal programs, and innovation in a data driven and research based team environment. EDUCATIONAL/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Specialist Degree in Educational Administration is required; Doctorate preferred, with appropriate Missouri Administrative Certificate. Five years of successful building-level administrative experience (or equivalent) desired. Central Office experience preferred. Strong leadership and planning skills. Possession of good oral and written communications skills. Willing to provide the district with “visionary goal-achieving” leadership and become a “progressive change-agent” on educational matters of importance. Must understand and support the District’s Comprehensive School Improvement Plan. Must successfully pass a background check and drug test that are satisfactory to the Board of Education.
