Director of School and Community Relations Fulton 58 School District

 

The Fulton 58 School District is seeking a highly qualified and dynamic individual to fill the Director of School and Community Relations position that will support students, faculty, and community of the Fulton 58 School District for the 2021-22 school year. The position would start on July 1, 2021. Approximately 2,300 students are enrolled in the district, grades K-12. FPS includes an Early Childhood Center, three elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school. Fulton School District is committed to a positive climate, culture, and collaboration for staff and students as demonstrated in a commitment to PLC and PBIS. The district and individual schools have been and continue to be recognized on a state level.

 

In collaboration with administrators, principals, and educators, the director will provide positive and strategic leadership to inspire, achieve, and maintain a shared mission and vision for learning.

 

Performance Responsibilities include a variety of duties in accordance with the Fulton Public Schools Board of Education policies and regulations and administrative regulations under the direction of the Superintendent of Schools.  The Director's primary responsibility is for the organization, management, and implementation of a community relations program. The following desired documented qualifications are sought:

  • Degree in education or communications/public relations related field, a graduate degree preferred
  • Experience working with schools is preferred
  • Background clearance
