The Rockwood School District is seeking an outstanding educator for the position of Principal of Eureka High School, a nationally-recognized Blue-Ribbon School serving approximately 1,730 students. 

Eureka High School, founded in 1908, is the original high school in the Rockwood School District.  Eureka High School is known for its strong academic and extracurricular activity programs and has been named as one of America’s most challenging high schools. 

With a strong focus on academic achievement, Eureka High School is consistently recognized for excellence in performance with respect to ACT, SAT, MAP, Advanced Placement and National Merit Scholars.  A faculty and support staff of over 200 individuals works to provide the very best in educational opportunities for students in keeping with Eureka High School’s long-standing tradition of excellence.


  1. Master’s degree required, doctorate preferred with a major in educational administration.
  2. Must hold a Missouri certificate as a high school principal.
  3. Successful high school administration and supervision experience.
  4. At least three years’ successful experience as a classroom teacher.
  5. Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
