Job Title: Assistant Professor, Educational Leadership

Location: Springfield, MO | Southwest Missouri

Reports To: Assistant Dean, Extended Sites

 

Job Summary

The Assistant Professor in educational leadership is a newly envisioned position designed to capitalize on the potential of a hybrid approach to course delivery while ensuring program quality and ease of access to students. The position is responsible for teaching, service, research, and advising students for Lindenwood University’s Springfield and southwest Missouri extended sites. The position will utilize synchronous and asynchronous distance delivery technologies in combination with site-based face-to-face instruction to accommodate students at multiple locations. In addition, the position is responsible for program management of educational leadership programs, chairing dissertation committees, and may represent the university, college/school, or department/unit on university and/or statewide committees.

 

Required Qualifications  An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.  (Additional requirements may be designated by position.)

  • Doctorate in Educational Leadership or in a closely related field required
  • Previous experience as an administrator and superintendent at the K-12 education level.
